Still no G&R

I feel like this blog gets a little repetitive with words like waiting and no news and no G&R. Not just repetitive, but down right depressing. So here is the good news... Today when the Blackwells left the baby home for the night, it was the first time that Zane cried out for his family. It was the first time that he realized that he is supposed to be with them and not watching them leave as they go back to their hotel and wait for their G&R. He is starting to feel like part of them now, his comfort coming from three people that he has only seen for five days. As this process draws out longer and longer, I think of Dillen and the attachment issues that she may have or the possibility of developmental delay, speech delay, etc. But as i read Teresa's blog, and realized that in just 5 days Zane has realized he has finally found his family, I stopped. She is perfect, in every way for our family. She is already one of us. I know that not everyone is meant for this road, but those of us that are can truly understand when someone says that their child was born in their heart. Dillen is a special little girl, and we are one lucky family to welcome her home when His timing is right.

Brooke she is so BEAUTIFUL!!! I am getting anxious as it is getting closer to you going to get her! God's timing is always perfect even though we don't understand it at the time.

She really is gorgeous. Alex was 18 months when we brought him home and we had no attachment issues (but we did get him right at the tantrum phase...SCORE). Same with Scarlett who was six months (and had never seen us before we took her out of the orphanage). Every child is different and you'll bond in your own way and time. That being said, I know that longing feeling to just get her home!
